Welcome to CIEC!
The first Circular Economy Innovation Center, located in Vicálvaro. This project, promoted by the Department of Economy, Innovation and Finance of Madrid City Council, is a bold and concrete step toward the development of circular economy initiatives. We are committed to the shift toward a more sustainable future.
We are proud to place Madrid at the forefront of ventures seeking the transition toward a sustainable model of production and consumption. Our center is built on innovation, talent attraction, and the creation of job opportunities, fostering entrepreneurship and networking around the circular economy.

Networking
We encourage active networking among companies, organizations, and circular economy experts, creating synergies and opportunities for collaboration.

Innovation
Innovation is the engine that drives our mission. We foster an environment of creativity and experimentation that challenges traditional paradigms.

Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of our initiatives. We work to promote responsible business practices that minimize environmental impact and maximize economic and social value.

Inclusion
We work to remove barriers and encourage equal participation in the transition toward a circular economy. Our community is enriched by diversity, and we strive to create an inclusive environment.

Our main mission is to promote and support the transformation of companies from a linear model to a circular one. We aim to attract strategic companies to the circular ecosystem and to design effective channels for collaboration between the private sector and CIEC Madrid.
We want to become a knowledge hub that has a positive impact on society, especially on Madrid’s economy. And how do we plan to achieve this? Through a range of programs and spaces for experimentation and citizen collaboration, such as the FabLab and an observatory of nature-based solutions (SBN Lab), with a focus on inclusion.
