We work closely with large companies to encourage the adoption of sustainable business practices and the integration of the circular economy into their corporate philosophy. Through strategic partnerships and joint projects, we work to foster innovation and the transition toward more responsible, efficient, and sustainable business models.
We are committed to citizen participation and to encouraging the involvement of third-sector organizations in promoting and adopting sustainable consumption habits. We also believe it is important to support participation in community initiatives that foster the circular economy.
We work closely with public institutions to develop policies and actions that foster the circular economy and facilitate the transition toward a more sustainable economic model. Through research projects, technical advice, and awareness programs, we help strengthen the capacity of public institutions to address social and environmental challenges and promote the adoption of innovative practices.
We collaborate with educational institutions to integrate the circular economy into academic programs and to help train professionals equipped to tackle the challenges of sustainable development.
We organize educational activities, workshops, and training programs for students and teachers to promote environmental awareness and critical thinking about issues related to the circular economy.
We collaborate with technology centers to develop prototypes and technological solutions through digital fabrication. We facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration between technology centers, companies, and other players in the ecosystem to accelerate the development and adoption of digital tools that support this journey.
We work with anchor companies that support projects and startups that promote the circular economy, providing training, funding, advice, and access to investment networks. We facilitate access to sustainable and impact financing opportunities to drive innovation and the growth of business initiatives that generate economic, social, and environmental value.
Our Partners
Why CIEC Madrid?
The third sector, as the stakeholder closest to citizens, plays a key role in promoting and ensuring that the development of a circular economy system is inclusive and responsive to the aspirations of society, particularly the needs of vulnerable groups or those at risk of social exclusion. The active participation of Fundación Juan XXIII Roncalli in this process enables the creation of strategic partnerships that foster an inclusive and transformative circular economy system encompassing:
Accessible Innovation and Development: ensuring that R&D&I (Research, Development and Innovation) incorporates citizen participation and that technological advances are also accessible to SMEs and vulnerable groups.
Environmental Literacy: promoting cognitive accessibility, enabling all consumers to access simpler and more understandable information so that they can make informed decisions and participate consciously in circular economy processes.
